As we come to the end of 2019, and the decade, it feels so significant to look back on what a year it has been. For me personally it was a real turning point in time. I turned 30 this year and dealt with some health issues. Life’s fragile state never felt more real to me. I am healthy and get healthier every day. I will never take that for granted again. Taking care of my health, physically, mentally and emotionally is a priority I am excited to take with me into the new year.
Reflecting on 2019 has me naturally examining the year/decade critically. There are many changes I hope to focus on in 2020. I have set my personal goals for this new year, with hope and prayers of deep growth in the next 12 months. I anticipate the growing pains that it will accompany. The set backs that tag along with breaking old habits. And most importantly the pride that comes with accomplishing goals.
One last thank you to 2019, even on the worst days, you were a great year. Heres to the 20s.
